Viral Joe Biden Plane Crash Claim Sparks Questions Online
A sensational claim circulating online says that former U.S. President Joe Biden, his wife Jill Biden, and a grandson were killed in a plane crash near Canada.
However, there is currently no credible evidence supporting the claim.
A website carrying the headline presents the story as breaking news, but searches for confirmation from established news organizations do not substantiate the reported crash. Current Fox News results also do not show a report confirming such an incident.
Claims announcing the sudden death of prominent public figures can spread extremely quickly on social media, particularly when they use phrases such as “just in” or “few minutes ago.” Those phrases do not establish that an event actually happened.
Readers should therefore be cautious before sharing the post or treating the headline as confirmed news. A genuine report involving a former U.S. president and members of his immediate family would ordinarily be covered and independently confirmed by multiple major news organizations and relevant authorities.
